The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee Saturday, August 19, 2000, page B3 Hugh Wayland Crowe, 75, of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Memphis, retired Air Force major, died of Alzheimer disease Wednesday at Prescott Veterans Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Prescott First Baptist Church with burial in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott has charge. Mr. Crowe, the husband of Jean 'Betty' Crowe, also leaves two daughters, Cynthia Crowe and Jennifer Morse; two sons, David A. Crowe and Donald S. Crowe; a sister, Sue Wells of Memphis; two brothers, Gayle W. Crowe and Dwight L. Crowe, and three grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Prescott First Baptist Church or Northern Arizona Alzheimer Association.
