REED, Charles A.

The Press-Enterprise, Riverside, California Thursday, November 30, 2000 Charles A. Reed, 78, died of heart disease Nov. 17 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. No services are planned. Inurnment will be private. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley, Ariz., is handling arrangements. Mr. Reed, who was born in Hemet, moved to Prescott in 1991. He was a science teacher at Hemet High School for many years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Miriam; three sons, Alan of Aztec, N.M., Scott of Everson, Wash., and Chris of Haiko, Hawaii; a daughter, Kathryn Charbonneau of Norwalk; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bea Beakley of Prescott Valley and Marjorie Huntoon of Hemet.
