Earl J. McDonald, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in Prescott Valley, Ariz., after a brief illness. He was born in Duluth on April 14, 1920.
He married Dorothy Konkler on April 7, 1946. They lived in Duluth for a few years. He was a bus driver for the DTA. They moved to Arizona in the early 1950s. While there, he worked for the Federal Government in several capacities -- BIA, public health, VA hospitals and the Air Force. He was a Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert W. McDonald.
Earl is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; sons Jeffery McDonald of Arkansas and Dennis McDonald of California; five grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Rawn of Duluth; and several nephews and nieces.
Private ceremony was held Feb. 12 in Prescott Valley.
