SEIDERMAN, Bert

Ventura County Star, Ventura, California Thursday, May 11, 2000, page B5 Bert Seiderman, age 75, passed away Monday, May 8, 2000 at his home in Prescott, Ariz. Mr. Seiderman was born Dec. 7, 1924 in New York City, N.Y. to Harry and Sarah (Nottoff) Seiderman. Bert received the Purple Heart while serving in the United States Navy during World War II. He was very proud of his successful heating and air conditioning business he owned in Sun Valley Calif. for over 20 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He enjoyed golfing and traveling. He is survived by his wife Lucy; sons Brian Seiderman of Oceanside and William Seiderman of Corning, N.Y.; daughters Michele Towery of Ventura and Linda Weber of Austin, Texas; brother Ernest Seiderman of Ashville, N.C.; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Seiderman was preceded in death by his brother Charles in 1998. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday May 13 at Our Lady of the Assumption 3175 Telegraph Road Ventura. Arrangements are under the direction of Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home Cortez at Carleton Prescott Ariz.
