Addie was a beloved friend to all the many people that knew her through the years. She loved people and people loved her.
Addie was the daughter of Albert L. Blumenauer, who was a gold mining engineer working throughout the southwest. Addie lived in Jerome, AZ, Prescott, AZ, Mojave, CA, Round Mountain, NV, and after marrying Walton B. Kelly, a World War II veteran 8th Air Force, they moved to Sunnymead, CA, Hickom AFB, HI, Fairfield, CA, High Wycomb, England, Marysville, CA, Highland, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Albuquerque, NM for their retirement years. W.B. Kelly passed away April 30, 1998.
After a year or so, Mom moved to an assisted living community where she quickly made even more friends. She had a way of touching people's hearts, listening to and praying for those that need her loving kindness. There was just something extra special about our mother. All of us kids adored her.
During Mom's three-year bout with Emphysema, she was never alone. Someone was always with her whether it was family or Mom's friends. The night before Mom passed away she was surrounded by loving friends and some of her children that were able to be with her.
We will love you forever Mom, no matter how long we live from this day to our time to pass. You are our perfect Mom.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at Gate of Heaven Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Canon Albert W. Tarbel officiating.
