Casa Grande Dispatch, Casa Grande, Arizona Monday, November 13, 2000 Maxine McGuire, 75, of Casa Grande died Nov. 9, 2000 in Casa Grande. The memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande, with the Rev. Pam Haley officiating. Miss McGuire was born June 20, 1925 in Marion, Ind., to Walter and Sadie (Walters) McGuire. She was a tax accountant before retirement. An accomplished pianist, she used to play duets with her sister Miriam. She enjoyed bowling, softball and golf. She was known for making a great Chinese dish, moo goo gai pan. She lived in Arizona for 45 years. Survivors include her sister, Miriam Dressel of Prescott, and a nephew, Richard Duncan of Tucson. Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
