Casa Grande Dispatch, Casa Grande, Arizona Wednesday,November 8, 2000 Wanda Jean Ohm, 70, of Casa Grande died Nov. 7, 2000 at Desert Valley Care Center. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Gay officiating. Mrs. Ohm was born Sept. 10, 1930 in Coalgate, Okla., to Nathan H. and Mamie (Bankston) Grubbs. She was a bank cashier before retirement and lived in Arizona for four years after moving from California. She enjoyed bingo and casinos and was known as an excellent cook. She enjoyed country music, and her favorite song was "Lee Roy Brown." Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Underwood and Phyllis Wilson of Casa Grande; a son, Jimmie D. Fincher of Prescott Valley; two sisters, Susie Allen of Tyler, Texas, and Wallena Jennings of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Kenneth and Jack Grubbs of Casa Grande; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanita, and four brothers, Ernie, Jean, Joe and Murrey.
