A Suicide
Early yesterday morning, the still warm dead body of been whole was
found at the Prescott railroad depot. It was evident at first
clients that the man had committed suicide by shooting himself to
the had with a bulldog revolver.
He left a note to begging that he be not considered a hobo, stating
that he had been sick all of his life, and had a great deal of bad
luck, feared insanity, and concluded that it was best to end his
life.
He is the same man who attempted to commit suicide last spring at
the sand brick plant, by shooting himself in the stomach with a 22-
caliber bullet.

Ben Hull, a well known laboring man of this section, committed
suicide yesterday morning at the railroad depot by blowing the top
of his head off with a six shooter.
A few months ago he attempted to kill himself, but was unsuccessful,
the bullet striking him in the chest low down, and but slightly
wounded him.
For several months he had been an inmate of the county hospital. He
left a note saying that his health was shattered, and in addition he
was despondent for financial reasons. He desired also to not be
classed as a tramp, and took the method above to close his earthly
career.
Investigation today of the identity of this unfortunate brought the
information that he was in early life a well to do man, and had for
years been afflicted with an incurable disease, and that he was
better dead than to live as a burden on his friends.
No trace of family was left, or where he was from.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Hull is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in
Prescott, Arizona.
