OLSON, Freidolph Kermit


25 July 1919 - 7 February 2004 Freidolph Kermit Olson, 84, passed away on February 7, 2004 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born in Rapid River, Michigan, he attended Rapid River High School and received his BA degree from Northwestern University. Mr. Olson was a WWII veteran of the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Helm DD388 with the rank of Full Lieutenant. He was employed as a controller for Stalker Corporation and was Operations Manager for Industrial Mutual Association of Flint. He retired from Trend Vendors, Inc. of which he was President /Owner. He was an active member of Scottsdale Rotary Club and former member of and past president of both Flint Rotary Club and Cass City Rotary Club. He was a former board member of Goodwill Industries and McLaren Hospital. Other memberships include NAA Bay City Chapter, Ancala Country Club and Valley Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonita; daughter, Judy A. (Mark E.) Spain; son, John K. (Suzanne M.); step-children, Gary (Tonia) Bills and Donna (Bob) Horseman; grandchildren, Lauren Jean Spain, Andrew John Olson, Jordan, Amy (Shane), Meagan and Kaylee and great grandson, Brody. Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at Valley Presbyterian Church Chapel, 6947 E. McDonald Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.
