Esther (Deines) Schartz, of Phoenix Az, died on February 6, 2004 at the age of 75.
She was born on April 3, 1928 in WaKeeney, Kansas. Esther married her husband in 1961 in Great Bend, KS and then moved to Phoenix in 1966.
She was a retired employee of the City of Phoenix and a member of the Christ Church Lutheran.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons, Ron and Tom; daughter, Lisa Lugo and seven grandchildren all of Phoenix; sister, Hedy Niedens of WaKeeney, KS and brother, Rudy Deines of Ozawkie, KS.
Visitation at Green Acres Mortuary. Services at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 North Hayden in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
