Lillian Amanda Varinsky, 79, passed away on Dec. 21, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz., surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 2, 1932, in Jersey City, N.J., to Elsie (Karg) and Otto Baade.
Lillian attended Tenafly High School and, besides working as a wife and mother, worked in the health service industry as a receptionist. Church was important to Lillian and she was a member of the choir for many years. She also enjoyed knitting, baking and crossword puzzles. But her greatest joy was her family.
Lillian is survived by her husband of more than 58 years, Paul; her daughter, Lee Anne Pallisco; son Steven Varinsky; grandchildren Jake, Anthony, Trey and Nicholas; and brother Bill Baade. She is predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Baade.
Per the family's wishes, there are no services scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Lillian's name be made to the charity of your choice or the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prescott Valley.
