NELSON, Max Busby

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/27/2011 Max Busby Nelson died peacefully with his wife by his side Dec. 18, 2011. The day Max died was the couple’s 19th wedding anniversary. He was born Sept. 23, 1952, in Tucson. Max is survived by his wife, Mariann Blain Nelson; three daughters: Monique Nelson Farnum (Trace Farnum), Nicole Nelson Mortensen (Clint Mortensen) and Aunné Nelson Shepler (Tyson Shepler); grandchildren: Felcity, Isaac, Joseph, Marcella, Troy, Ian, Merry Ann, and Jack; siblings: Terri Nelson Criger, Rodney Nelson, and Judy Nelson Butler; also numerous nieces and nephews and more friends than he knew. Max was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Nelson, parents Ray Busby Nelson and Wanda May Haymore Nelson, and his grandson Marshall Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 30, at the Fairmont Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
