William J. Magruder, age 83, of Arizona City, Arizona, passed away June 17, 2006 in Casa Grande, AZ. He served in WW II, U.S. Marine Corps. Celebration of Life was held at the Moose Lodge #1038 at 14220 S. Calera Road in Arizona City. Services were entrusted to Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. ARIZONA CITY - William J. "Bill" Magruder, 83, died June 17, 2006 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. The memorial service was at Moose Lodge 1038. Mr. Magruder was born Aug. 27, 1922 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Malvern and Della Magruder. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a customer service agent for United Airlines for 33 years before retiring in 1984. He lived in Arizona for 16 years. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Betty Jo.
