Christopher C. Smith, 79, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Monday, July 14, 2003 in Mesa. 

Served in the US Army WWII. 

Visitation 6-8PM Friday, July 18 at the mortuary. 

Services 10AM Saturday, July 19, 2003 Mountain View Chapel 7900 E. Main, Mesa 480-832-2850.

Christopher C. Smith - August 17, 1923 to July 14, 2003. 
Born in Cerrogordo, Oklahoma to Bailey and Willie Mae Smith. Moved to 
Mesa, AZ. in 1946 after duty with the U.S. Army in Germany. He was a 
retired truck driver with Baker's Commodities and an active member of 
Skyline Baptist Church. He was a past president of the Rocking M. Saddle Club and an avid fisherman. 

Survived by his wife of 60 years, Hazel; son, Kenneth (Ellen) of Mesa; 
daughters, Joyce Whittle of Spokane, WA; Shirley (Darrel) Pichoff of 
Mesa; Charlene (Mike) Conner of Gilbert; 5 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons, and 8 great-granddaughters. 

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edmond and daughter Christene.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
