WOHLRABE, Charles William


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Charles William Wohlrabe, 85, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at his home in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was under the care of Hospice Family Care of Prescott, Ariz. Charles was born in Amboy, Minn., on April 9, 1926, to Carl and Ann Wohlrabe. He attended school in Amboy, Minn. There he met and married his wife of 64 years, Alice Mildred Wohlrabe. Together they farmed in Amboy and Lake Crystal, Minn. Later they moved to Herman, Minn. In 1974, they moved to Prescott Valley. Charles operated Foothill Mobile Home Sales in Prescott Valley until he retied. Charles was a one-time president of the local Chamber of Commerce. He loved to visit the casino and enjoyed food. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice. Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Mardell) Wohlrabe of Prescott Valley, Dean (Sheila) Wohlrabe, also of Prescott Valley, and Dale (Lori) Wohlrabe of Trimont, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
