STARLING, Walter Vought


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, December 28, 2011 Walter Vought Starling, passed away on Dec. 17, 2011. Walt owned the successful L & W Auto Body Service Shop located in Globe in the early 70’s. He then went on to establish the Four Star Trailer Park which he later sold to lovingly care for his ailing wife, Elma. Walt was known for his kind and generous nature, green thumb, cooking, building and artistic talent. He was also loved by many as the garden center People Greeter at Walmart in Claypool. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Starling, his parents, two brothers and one sister. He leaves behind two daughters, Elaine (Robert) Crago of Ostrander, Ohio and Mary (David) Coker of Claypool, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Cathleen, Cynthia, Letitia and Steven; and five great-grandchildren, Deric, Heather, Zoey, Ezra and Anneke. He will be greatly missed and will remain in the hearts of those whom he leaves behind until they meet again in the resurrection the Bible promises for all those who sleep in death. A private family memorial will be held in Ohio in his remembrance. Funeral arrangements for Walter V. Starling were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
