Joseph Edward Grant, 77 of Phoenix, passed away on July 15, 2003 with 
his loving family by his side. He was born on June 18, 1926 in Chandler, 
AZ. 
Before his retirement he was employed with Union Rock & Materials for 39 
yrs. And was also a member of the Teamsters Local #83. 
Joseph honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, during WWII. 
He was devoted to his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved 
wife Gloria J. Grant; Son Dennis (Susan) Grant; Grandchildren Tracy 
Sullivan and Eddie Grant; Great-grandchildren Austin and Cody Sullivan; 
brother Clovis Grant. 

Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Friday, July 18, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes 
Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ, where the Funeral Service will 
be at 9:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2003. 

Interment Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.
