The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona 7/18/2003 - 7/19/2003 Carolyn Allen, 45, of Mesa died July 12, 2003 at her residence. Born August 28, 1957 to Richard H. & Sandra S. Selkirk, in Amarillo, TX. She worked for NDC Health as a Technology Manager, where she became much more than a manager, she became a very close friend to everyone there. She was the pillar and nurturer of her family and extended family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She had a very special relationship with her sister and nieces. Other joys she had in her life include a Bunko group she belonged to for over 10 years, and being a Girl Scout Leader for the past 7 years in Casa Grande, AZ. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Darrell Allen; daughter, Christie; son and wife, Michael and Sally Allen; daughter and husband, Lori & Michael Baugh; 4 grandchildren, Kayla and Josh Allen, Hailey & Braden Baugh; father, Richard Selkirk; and sister, AnnDee Graham. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Bunker's University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa, Arizona at 2:00PM with a visitation at 1:00 PM.
