The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, July 18, 2003 James G. Springer, 54, Robards, Kentucky, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, died at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at his home. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He was also a computer consultant and an amateur astronomer. Survivors include his wife, Pat Springer; three sons, Jason Springer, Jeffrey Springer, and Michael Springer, all of Robards; his mother, Ruth Springer of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Judy Lobstein of Keller, Texas; two brothers, Christopher Springer of Bakersfield, California, and Roddy Springer of Lubbock, Texas; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the funeral home, where prayers will be said at 5 p.m. Friday.
