The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, December 29, 2011 Ted Swift, 93, died on Dec. 24, 2011, at the Northern Arizona VA Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. Ted was born in Detroit, Mich., on May 3, 1918. He served proudly in the Navy during WWII in the North Atlantic. Ted worked for Lockheed Martin in Burbank, Calif., for many years before retiring and moving to Prescott in 1990. He was an accomplished sailor and enjoyed having his friends sail with him. He was a talented painter and pianist who loved to play the music of Chopin. Ted is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine; daughter Pam (Steve) Watson; son Jerry; and granddaughter Kelsey Ann Watson. No services scheduled at this time. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with final arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
