West Valley View, Avondale, AZ Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Felicia B. Chavez, 58, of Goodyear died Dec. 16, 2011, in Goodyear. Mrs. Chavez was born Sept. 29, 1953, in Rocksprings, Texas, to Felipe and Felice Benavidez. She moved to Arizona in 1969. She was an intake coordinator at UnitedHealthcare. She is survived by her husband, Danny; two sons, Aaron and Michael; four sisters, Amparo Martinez, Adelina Ramirez, Alva Acosta and Alicia Fimbres; two brothers, Amador and Felipe Jr. Benavidez; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recital at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road in Avondale, with a luncheon to follow at Estrella Vista Reception Center, 1471 N. Eliseo C. Felix Jr. Way in Avondale. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org. Funeral arrangements were made by Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel.
