Elsa Lucille Glenn of Eugene, Oregon died July 7, 2003 at the age of 87.
She was born July 27, 1915 near Gate, Oklahoma to Howard and Mary
(Davis) Drake. She graduated from High School in Kismet, Kansas. She
married Maurice Glenn in Plains, Kansas on May 17, 1936. He passed away
in June 1993. During her early years, she resided in Kansas. She lived
in Tulia, Texas from 1943-1959, Mesa, Arizona from 1959-1965, Los
Angeles area in California from 1965-1981, Sweet Home, Oregon from 1981-
1989 when she moved to Eugene, Oregon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed
traveling. She attended the Bethel Community Church in Eugene, Oregon.
Elsa is survived by her children, Marvin Glenn of St. John, Virgin
Islands; Dwain Glenn, French Lick, Indiana; Allen Glenn, St. John,
Virgin Islands; Karen Fields, Sweet Home, Oregon and John Shea Glenn of
Eugene, Oregon. Grandchildren, Kenneth Fields, Garden City, Kansas;
Sherry Lynch, Nancy Fields and Joline Banta of Sweet Home, Oregon.;
Charles Glenn of Portland, Oregon; Tamera Glenn of Eugene, Oregon;
Angeli Glenn and Elena Glenn, both of St. John, Virgin Islands.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 3:00 PM at the
Bethel Community Church, 2600 Wood Ave., Eugene, OR.
Private internment will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, Eugene,
Oregon.
