Engineer Dies Of Extended Illness
(From Friday's Daily)
Harry W. Andrews, civil engineer for the Yavapai county highway commission, died at Mercy hospital June 13th, after a lingering illness. He was brought in to the hospital here from Mayer, where he was taken ill while engaging in road work for the commission.
County Engineer, Joseph McCarthy and the commission members had only the highest praise for Mr. Andrews and for his ability.
Before coming to Prescott especially to work with the highway commission, he was with the state highway commission as a civil engineer for the city of Phoenix.
He leaves a wife and young daughter, two uncles and a brother.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Andrews is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
