PARRY, Mildred Jo

Arizona Republic (Phoenix AZ) Thursday, November 10, 2011 Mildred Jo Parry, our kind and loving mother passed away on Saturday, 11/5/2011. She was 82 years old. Mom was born in Dexter, Mo. in 1929. At the age of 14, she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona with her mother, Ora, her brother, John, and her sisters Hazel and Mary. She attended Scottsdale High School. Mom worked for various companies including, Mountain Bell, the City of Scottsdale, and most recently, Motorola from which she retired after 20 years. After retirement, she and Dad moved to Wickenburg then settled in Morristown, Az. for many years before returning to Scottsdale in 2007. The most important thing to our mother was family. She is survived by her five children, Karen Sue 'Suzy', Rory, Jacque, Jo D, and Ardis; her 10 grandchildren, Scott, Kimberly, Erica, Tiffany, Charlie, Jessica, Brandon, Marki, Max and Micalyn; her 8 great-grandchildren, Lance, Grace, Nola, Mary, Anna, Kameron, Kessany and Leo; her sister Mabel, and her brother John. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Tommy 'Red' Parry by 6 days. Services will be held for both Mom and Dad at Oasis Trailer Park, 6700 E Thomas Rd, Scottsdale, at 2pm on Sunday 11/20/2011.
