PATERNO, Amani Jacob

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 20, 2003 Amani Jacob Paterno, 4 mos, was born on Feb. 19, 2003 in Phx, AZ, he unexpectedly left our world on July 14, 2003. He will be loved and missed dearly by many who will always hold him close to their hearts, we are his Mommy & Daddy; Louis & Jennette (Cota) Paterno, Big Brother Jaden (2), Gramma Erin Cota (O'Neill), Nana Maryann Pisano, Auntie Michelle & Renee Cota, Special Cousin Nathan Grauer, Aunt Renae Johnson, Uncle Robert Paterno, Great-Grandmothers; Lucy (Robert) Avina, Mary, & Lucy H., Tata Henry Cota Sr. & Grandfather Henry, and bunches of other loving aunts, uncles & cousins. It broke our hearts to lose you Amani, but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home. We cherish the memories you gave us, and will not ever forget, the way we felt when we held you close, and you wrapped your tiny fingers so tightly around our hands, the butterfly kisses, your "little man nose", and the sweet smell of your curly hair. You left with us your image, that of a "perfect angel", the smile that always made any worries quickly fade away. A remembrance will be held at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church on, July 21, 2003. A visitation at 11:00 AM, with Church Services at 12:00 PM, Amani will be laid to rest in Babyland at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave., Glendale.
