WIKE, SR., Jon Louis

Jon Louis Wike, Sr., 64, formerly of Mesa, passed away after a prolonged 
illness on July 3, 2003, at his home in Gravette, Arkansas. Jon Attended 
school in Mesa before moving to Gila Bend, where he served as a Deputy 
Sheriff, Justice of the Peace, and Chief of Police. In 1979 he moved 
with his family to Benton County, Arkansas, where he resided until his 
death, working as a self-employed building contractor.  He is survived 
by his wife of 44 years, Jackie Nelson Wike; two sons, Dennis Wike of 
Springdale, AR and Jon Wike Jr. of Gravette, AR; two daughters, Jennifer 
Copher of Centerton, AR, and Jeanette Taglauer of Bentonville, AR; his 
mother Bertha Wike of Mesa AZ;two sisters, Denna Webster of Knoxville, 
TN, and Annette Leer of Cave Creek, AZ; and eight grandchildren.


Funeral services took place on Tuesday, July 8, at The Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter-day Saints in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
