Cree, Bill, 91, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully on December 28, 2011. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Mildred, of 66 years, daughter Patricia Teers, grandson Derek Koch & wife Brenda, grandson Kevin Koch and great-granddaughter Alexis Lee Koch.
Bill was a WWII Veteran, earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star as well as a Jubilee of Liberty Medal from the French Government for his service in WWII. He grew up in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Scottsdale in 1961.
He was a member of Linn Creek Masonic Temple (Linn Creek, MO), the VFW, the American Legion and the DAV.
Memorials: Contributions can be made in his honor to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
Services: A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., in Scottsdale. Burial will take place following the service at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., also in Scottsdale.
Visitation: A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, Monday, January 2, 2012.
