Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, December 21, 2011 - Maryann Hummel passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at her home in Lake Havasu City at the age of 75. She was born in New Castle, Pa. to Ralph and Eleanor (Miller) Hartman on Dec. 5, 1936. Maryann and her husband Jim moved to Lake Havasu City one year ago from Claremont, Calif. While living in California, Maryann worked in the health care field as a sales representative for various health care companies, a career she truly enjoyed. She won many awards for top salesperson of the year and won several trips, some abroad. One of the things Maryann enjoyed doing was traveling around and participating in bass fishing tournaments with Jim. Maryann is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jim; daughters Michelle Villareal and her husband Chris of Redlands, Calif., Maureen Slater of San Diego, Calif. and Denise Nelson and her husband David of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; sister, Dorothy Fracul and her husband Tom of New Castle, Pa. and her grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Bianca, Danny, Megan and Shane.
