Rites Saturday For Mrs Howard

Mrs. Lutie Howard of Phoenix, mother of Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Wickenburg, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Maricopa County General Hospital in that city following prolonged heart trouble. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Saturday) in the Mercer Mortuary in Phoenix with burial following at Rest haven Memorial Park in Glendale. Mrs Howard had resided with another daughter, Mrs Len Bachman, in Phoenix for several years.

Mrs Howard was born near Bonham, Texas, 81 years ago April 8. She and Mr Howard were married in Indian Territory in Oklahoma in 1901. Mr Howard died two years ago. They had resided in Wickenburg for eight years.

Survivors, in addition to Mrs Johnson and Mrs Bachman, include another daughter, Mrs R. B. Fox of Harrisonburg, Va.; and three sons, Herschel and Ralph of Yuba City, Calif., and Paul of Inglewood, Calif.
