The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 17, 1959, p. 5 Rites Held For Ralph Moran’s Mother Monday Requiem high mass was sung Monday morning in St. Anthony’s Church, Phoenix, for Mrs Rafaela M. Moran, 69, mother of Ralph Moran. Mrs Moran, who had visited in her son’s home here frequently since 1952, died Friday in the Phoenix home of another son, Emigdio Moran. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix. Born in Mexico, Mrs Moran came to Arizona in 1903. She was married to Domingo Moran October 19, 1908, in Humboldt. When the mines in Humboldt began to fail, she and her husband moved to Jerome. In 1945 they moved to Los Angeles and in 1953 took up residence in Phoenix. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Emigdio and Henry of Phoenix and Ralph of Wickenburg; a daughter, Mrs Alfred Ramirez of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs Ameilia Arias of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
