He became ill Monday night and was admitted to the hospital Tuesday. Arrangements for services and burial were to be decided Thursday after a brother, Grant Bowden of Napa, Idaho, arrives. ~~~~~~~~ The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 4, 1959, p. 5 Rites Held For Ralph Bowden Services for Ralph Bowden, 73-year-old resident who died Wednesday of last week, were held in the Wickenburg Chapel last Friday afternoon with the Rev. Robert Jenkins, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr Bowden is survived by one brother, Grant Bowden of Napa, Idaho; and two sisters, Mrs Edith Janson of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs Mildred Gibson of Houston, Texas. The brother and Mrs Janson were here for the services. Also attending the service from out of town were Mrs Minnie Barron and Mrs & Mrs Lloyd Farley, all of Phoenix. Note: Correct spelling for last name is Bouden per AZ Death Certificate and Headstone.
