The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 11, 1959, p. 1 California Rites For Mrs Gerber Funeral services were conducted in the Simons Funeral Home at Riverside, Calif., Monday for Mrs Muriel Gerber, former Wickenburg resident, who died in that city at 2:12 a. m. September 4. Mrs. Gerber moved from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Wickenburg soon after World War II and developed the Diamond G Ranch just north of town. There she had built several homes on a hillside overlooking the Hassayampa River. While here she was active in the Saddle Club, served for a time as it president and helped build the chuck wagon which is a sort of trade mark of the organization. Mrs Gerber was also active in other local projects. She moved from here to Riverside about three years ago. Ed Gerber, Sr., the husband, had recently retired from the steel business in Pittsburg and had moved to Riverside. A son, Ed Gerber, Jr., died in Riverside this past winter. Surviving, in addition to the husband, is one daughter, Mrs Phyllis Mitchell and a daughter-in-law, Mrs Ed Gerber, Jr., both of Riverside.
