The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 1, 2008, p. A18 We have lost a great man, and have gained a great angel. Robert Myers (Bobby) Sanders passed away in his sleep on Sept. 26. He was born in Wickenburg, Ariz., on Oct. 13, 1960. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Joanne L. Sanders of Eerieville, N.Y.; sons Robert Nicholas of Glenmora, La.; Mike Kent Isaacs and wife Jen of Liverpool, N.Y.; and Douglas Aubrey and wife Gayleen of Safford, Ariz.; parents Robert and Elaine Sanders of Wickenburg, Ariz.; sister Karan Hoskin and husband Harvey of Glenmora, La.; brothers Jon Everet and wife Cathy of Williams, Ariz.; and Keith Alan and wife Linae of Bellevue, Neb.; grandchildren Kyle and Katelynn of Safford, Ariz.; Erin, Macey, and Bryce of Glenmora, La. He had several nieces and nephews who will miss “Uncle Bob.” He had more friends than the sky has stars. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Lois Myers of Glenmora, La.; and Emmett (Sandy) Sanders of Wickenburg, Ariz. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 4) at First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg.
