The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 8, 2008, p. B13 Carolyn Wojcik was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Aug. 24 and passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer. Carolyn was a devout Catholic, and longtime parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua’s church in Wickenburg. Services have already been held with a Rosary this past Friday (Oct. 3) at David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home, followed by a Saturday Mass and luncheon at the Catholic Church. She spent more than half of her life in Wickenburg, moving here in 1972 with her husband and four children. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Helen Glodek, and her husband John Wojcik, all of Wickenburg. She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Wojcik of Wickenburg and Christine Parkis and son-in-law Jason Parkis of Prescott Valley; sons Steven Wojcik of Wickenburg and Phillip Wojcik of Surprise; granddaughter Michelle Martelli and her husband Joe Martelli of Phoenix; grandsons Kevin and Tyler Wojcik of Wickenburg; and brother Peter Glodek and sister-in-law Ronnie Glodek of Phoenix.
