Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, December 31, 2011 - James Edward Lamatrice passed away Dec. 21, 2011 in Kingman, Ariz. at the age of 70. He was born to Joseph and Flossie (Paces) Lamatrice on Feb. 13, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. James moved to Arizona 30 years ago. On Jan. 1, 1995, he married his beloved bride Sharon. James was the founding member of the Rods & Relics Car Club and was very much an avid “car buff”. His biggest passion was being a member of the Sedan Delivery Club. He enjoyed his trips to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and loved watching NASCAR. James leaves behind his beloved wife Sharon Lamatrice of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; three sons James J. Lamatrice, William Kroenke of Kingman, Ariz. and Justin Kroenke of Anaconda, Mont.; daughters Jolee Lamatrice of Roseville, Calif. and Lenea Shaver of Lake Havasu City; sister Barbara Ann Lamatrice of Las Vegas, Nev.; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
