The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on December 13, 2011 - A lifetime resident of Kingman and patriarch of the Gonzales family, Raymond S. Gonzales, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel G. Gonzales; and his sister, Josephine Padilla. "Ramon" or "Shiner" is survived by his brothers, Manuel Gonzales and Guadalupe Romero; and son, Carlos (Paco) Gonzales; daughters, Alicia Hill, Sylvia Yniguez, Emily Martinez and Anita Gonzalez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Ramon was an employee of the Kingman U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1980. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and VFW, and president of the Jalisco Club. Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, with the Rosary at 6, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. The Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring St. After the services there will be a reception at the American Legion Post 14, Third and Oak Streets, You will be dearly missed, "Pardner." Happy Trails. "Adios Querido Amigo."
