West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona August 03, 2010 Gerald A. Fosen, 74, of Litchfield Park died from cancer July 23, 2010, at his home. Mr. Fosen was born June 10, 1936, in Tacoma, Wash., to Helen and Einar. He served in the Marine Corps. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from the University of Arizona. He also earned a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He moved to Arizona in 1984. He was a retired Lutheran pastor. He was a member of Community Church of Joy. He is survived by his wife, Janice; two daughters, Grethe Hedrick of Peoria and Ruth Diehl; and five grandchildren. Services were held July 26 at Community Church of Joy.
