RICHMOND, Glenn Raymond

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona August 06, 2010 Glenn Raymond Richmond, 43, of Tolleson died Aug. 1, 2010, at his home. Mr. Richmond was born May 12, 1967, in Wheeling, W.Va., to Wilma E. Light and Glen Spencer Richmond. He moved to Arizona in 1998. He served in the Army for 13 years as an engineer and paratrooper. He earned numerous medals and commendations as well as airborne wings. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by one son, Dainen Ray; his mother, Wilma E. Light; four sisters, Glenda Leivas, Bonnie Grijalva, Lana Ballato and Marna; and one brother, James Light. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
