HANNUM, Kurt

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona August 13, 2010 Kurt Hannum, 63, of Waddell died July 18, 2010, in Waddell. Mr. Hannum was born May 3, 1947, in New Jersey. He retired from the Air Force after 26 years, 10 of which he served at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. He moved to Arizona in 1982 and owned Benchmark Marble in El Mirage. He also played Santa Claus throughout the Valley. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; one daughter, Deborah of Goodyear; one son, Bill of Surprise; one sister, Debbie Munoz of California; one brother, Bill of Washington; and four grandchildren. A celebration of his life will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at Falcon Dunes Golf Course, 15100 W. Northern Ave. in Waddell.
