VAN VOLKENBURG, Ray

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 5, 1974 Ray Van Volkenburg Rites in Wisconsin Ray Van Volkenburg, 76, died Monday at Yavapai Community Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born May 17, 1898 at Holland, Mich, and moved to Prescott 2 1/2 years ago from Wisconsin. An electrical engineer, he graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in that field. He owned and operated a motel at Wisconsin Dells, Wis. before moving to Prescott. Mr. Van Volkenburg was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Dells Lodge No. 124, F.& A. M., Hiram Club, Royal Arch Masons, all in Wisconsin Dells. He is survived by his widow, Bessie of Prescott; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Fischer of Baraboo, Wis.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted by Fedderly Funeral Home at Wisconsin Dells, Wisc. where services and burial will be held. Memory Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
