MONTELEONE, Thomas I.


Dr. Thomas Monteleone Rosary tonight Dr. Thomas I. Monteleone, 64, died Monday morning at Yavapai Community Hospital. He retired in 1964 as professor of industrial education at Central Conn. State College. Shortly afterward, he was designated Professor Emeritus of the department. He had held the chair for 18 years. He received his masters degree from New York University and his doctorate from Bradley University at Peoria, Ill. His professional affiliations included: Laureate membership in Epsilon Pi Tau, American Industrial Arts Association, American Association of University Professors, the American Radio Relay League and he also held amateur radio station license K7JOC. He was born Nov.28, 1909 at Farnham, New York and spent his entire life in education and retired to Prescott in 1972, coming here from Yarmouth, Maine. He is survived by: his widow, Eleanor of Prescott; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Brady of Yarmouth; four sisters and one brother all out of state. Rosary will be recited at Ruffner Funeral home at 7:30 p.m.today. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church at 11 a.m.,tomorrow with cremation following.
