Fred G. Dotson, 93 years of age, died this Monday at the family home at 725 Butte St.
Dotson was born in Pennsylvania in 1851 and came to Arizona in 1889. He has lived in Prescott all but seven of those years.
He was an accountant for the many years and worked for Sam Dreyer. He was superintendent of the Sunday school at the Methodist Church for several years and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Surviving are a wife, Mrs. Minerva Dotson, and one son, William who is a funeral director at Williamstown, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home.

Fred G. Dodson, 93, State Pioneer, Dies
Fred G. Dodson, 93 year-old resident of Prescott, died Wednesday in a hospital there
it was learned by friends in Phoenix.
Dodson was a native of Pennsylvania, and came to Arizona in 1889. He had lived in Prescott since that time, with the exception of seven years which she lived in Phoenix.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minerva Dodson, and one son, William, both of Williamstown, Pa.
