Francis E. "Mac" McBane, 87, a resident of Phoenix, AZ, died July 20, 
2003. Born in Sebring, OH on September 17, 1915, he moved to Phoenix 
from Sebring in 1942. He was a long-time member of the Arizona Air 
National Guard, rising to the rank of chief warrant officer 4 and 
retiring in 1976. Mac is survived by his son Robert (Carolyn) McBane of 
Phoenix; daughter Valerie (John) Lazar of Scottsdale; seven 
granddaughters and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held at 9:00 A.M. and services at 10:00 A.M. on 
Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th 
Ave., Phoenix, AZ. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Freedom Bird, 
Phoenix Veteran's Center, 77 East Weldon, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 
85004.
