Dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother, June devoted her life to spreading love and encouraging others to do so. She delighted in playing Mah Jongg with her friends, bowling with her team and worshiping at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Most of all she treasured every moment with her five grandchildren; Taylor, Cali, Lexi, Seanie, and Sarah. June predeceased by her husband Robert Peterson and is survived by her children Karen Maryan of Mesa, Robert Peterson, Jr. of Scottsdale, Michael Peterson of Mesa and Mary Anne Duggan of Scottsdale; her sisters Lorraine Bachelder of Massachusetts and Dorothy Walters of New York; and her brothers David Bertrand of Oregon and Phil Bertrand of Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22 at Messinger's Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale from 5-8pm with prayer service at 7pm. Funeral services Wednesday, July 23, 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 7655 E. Main St., Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of June Eva Peterson to Hospice of the Valley, Attn: Fund Development, 1510 East Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656.
