Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 1 to Jan. 8, 2012 - Raymond Leon Burns, age 77, a 46-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed into Glory December 20, 2011, at home. He was born on October 7, 1934, in Mountainair, New Mexico. "Paw, you will be missed greatly." Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, brother and grandson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June; four children, Penny Linden of Lakeside, Ariz., Crystal Burns of Ariz., Shane Burns of Ft Mohave, Ariz., and Raven Burns of Cedar Park, Texas; sister, Pearl Goar of Mountainair, New Mexico; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at First Southern Baptist Church, 1700 Palma Way, Bullhead City, Ariz. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Lake Havasu Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (928)453-2111.
