Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Florence Jansen Nov. 7, 1927 - Dec. 19, 2011 Born Nov. 7, 1927. Passed away Dec. 19, 2011 at her home away from home of 22 years in Bouse, Ariz., She is preceded in death by her brother Dan Weeks and sister Vina Waird. Florence loved the desert and all that came with it including the little creatures. She loved her family and friends dearly. Florence really enjoyed being on the road and traveling with her husband of 66 years Karl Jansen. Here is a poem Karl wrote for Florence 32 years ago: She’s the one that I call Honey, the reason for my happy life. She’s the mother of our children. My winsome, lithesome wife. She’s there whenever I need her; waiting at my beck and call. She’s quick when I say “Dress up.” She likes to have a ball. She makes her children happy. She’s their cushion when they fall. She’s my pretty loving honey the sweetest one of all. MY WIFE
