Miner of Congress Is Taken in Death
James Benjamin Harrison of Congress, died in a local hospital late Tuesday after a lingering illness.
He was born September 27, 1865, near San Jose, Calif., and came to Arizona in 1894.
He worked as a minor at Jerome for a number of years past and in the Congress area.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Isabella A. Langley, of Oakland, Calif., who arrived this morning; also a brother George W. Harrison, of Usona, Calif.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Hunter Mortuary.

To Conduct Rites For Pioneer Miner
Funeral services for James B. Harrison, pioneer Congress mining figure, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock from the Hunter Chapel, with the Rev. M. E. Travers officiating.
Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mr. Harrison was born September 27, 1865 near San Jose, California, and came to this date in 1894 he was a minor in the Congress and Jerome areas for many years.
He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Isabella A. Langley, Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Mary H. Harrison and Mrs. Ida Pfaw, both of San Jose, Calif., and a brother, George W. Harrison, of Usona, Calif.
