J. N. Holloway, 93, Claimed By Death
Jesse N. Holloway, 93, died this morning at the Pioneers Home, where he had been a guest since last February 12.
Mr. Holloway, who was born June 29, 1854 in Walker, Missouri, came to Arizona in 1894, locating at Tempe, where he was employed for a number of years by the Tempe creamery. He came to Prescott more than 40 years ago and was employee in the Santa Fe shops for some time and later at Fort Whipple.
He is survived by a son, W. F. Holloway, an engineer on the Santa Fe, and a daughter, Mrs. R. F. (Lula) Barton, who has cared for her father since the death of his wife, Jennie B., two years ago. The family home is at 420 N. Washington St.
Also surviving in a granddaughter, Mrs. Jack Barclay, and two great grandchildren, Betty Lou and Sharon Kay Barclay, all of Prescott. A brother, Albert, lives in Washington state.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home.

Arrange Services of J. N. Holloway
Funeral services for Jesse N. Holloway, 93, who died yesterday at the Pioneers Home, will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home. The Rev. C. F. LaFerney, minister of the Church of the Nazarene, will officiate at the services, which will be followed by interment in the family plot in Mountain View cemetery.
Mr. Holloway, a native of Missouri, came to Arizona in 1894, locating at Tempe. He moved to Prescott more than 40 years ago and has resided here since that time.
He is survived by a son, W. F. Holloway, and a daughter, Mrs. R. F. Barton, both of Prescott. Another daughter, Mrs. John H. McNally, of Fresno, will arrive tomorrow for the funeral services.
Her name was inadvertently omitted from the account of her father's death in yesterday's Courier.
