WARD, Edna Elane

Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Wednesday, April 16, 1997 Edna Elane Ward of Sun City and formerly of Wickenburg, passed away April 6 at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa. She was 82. Mrs Ward was born Dec 27, 1914. She and her husband, Byron, who survives her, moved to Wickenburg in 1939. They owned and operated Ward Cleaners and Laundry, which is now Anderson Cleaners and Laundry, for 39 years. Survivors in addition to her husband, include a son, Byron Lawrence Ward of Tempe; a sister, Mrs Evelyn Goodbread of Indio, Calif; and a brother, Charles L Woods, of Ozark, Ala. Memorial services will be held in Alabama.
