Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Wednesday, May 7, 1997 Eugenia Vallas of Wickenburg died May 3 in Wickenburg. She was 77. Mrs Vallas was born Feb 7, 1920 in Rockland, Maine. She had lived in Arizona for the past 50 years. Mrs Vallas retired after 40 years with Singer Sewing Machine Company. During her employment, she worked as a secretary, in sales and as a bookkeeper. She loved to work in her yard, and she loved playing golf. Mrs Vallas had lived in Wickenburg since 1989. Survivors include her husband Everett "Val" Vallas of Wickenburg; son James Vallas of Phoenix; daughter Lavone Archer of Mesa; grandchildren Amy Gallo, Ronda Trebitowski, Andrew Vallas, David Vallas and Andrea Vallas; and seven grandchildren. Private graveside services will be today (Wednesday May 7) at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Visitation was conducted Tuesday, May 6 from 5pm to 6pm at Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home, which handled all the arrangements.
